Turkish culture and tourism minister said on Thursday that Turkey and Serbia were planning to co-produce a movie.
Ertugrul Gunay said the two countries had not yet decided on a certain scenario.
"However, we can easily find a common scenario on the history of the Balkans," Gunay said during his meeting with his Serbian counterpart Nebojsa Bradic in Belgrade.
Gunay said there were two Ottoman castles on the Danube, and they could be renovated with Turkey's contributions.
"We should extend more support to translation of Serbian books regarding Turkey and the Balkans," Gunay said.
"Saatleri Ayarlama Enstitusu" (The Time Regulation Institute), a book by Turkish author Ahmet Hamdi Tanpinar, has received translated book of the year award in Serbia.
