2 people died and 3 were wounded on Tuesday due to an armed assault in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province.
An unidentified attacker randomly opened fire in a bazaar in Balochistan's central Kandahar, causing 2 people to die and 3 be wounded.
Frequent armed attacks occur between the minority group Shiah Hazaras, an Iranian ethno-linguistic group and Sunni Beluches in southwestern Pakistan. Despite the operations started under the direction of Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, increasing attacks directed at Hazaras in recent days concern the people in the region.
