Nasiruddin Haqqani, a top commander of the Haqqani network and spokesman for the Afghan Taliban, has been killed by unknown assailants in Pakistani capital Islamabad, intelligence and Taliban sources confirmed to Anadolu Agency.

Nasiruddin had been operating as a Taliban spokesman in Afghanistan under the name of Qari Zabihullah.
