A roadside bomb killed three soldiers in the Pakistan's Bannu district on Sunday.
The remote-controlled bomb was detonated as a military patrol vehicle was travelling in Bannu, located in North Waziristan's Miranshah town.
Eight other soldiers who were injured in the attack were taken to Bannu Military Hospital.
The Ansar ul Islam organization has claimed responsibility for the attack.
