China's vice president to visit North Korea

Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao and an accompanying delegation will pay a visit to North Korea, Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.

Issuing a written statement, Foreign Ministry of the People's Republic of China announced that the delegation would hold talks in North Korea on July 25-28, upon invitation of the Pyongyang government.

Enholding the members of the Central Politburo (political bureau) of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the delegation would attend the ceremonies organized as part of the 60th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice.
