Choir of 4‚335 performs in Russia

Singers from nearly all of the city's professional and amateur choirs sang from the steps of St. Isaac's Cathedral before thousands of spectators under an intermittent rain.

Four- thousand of people managed to enter Book of World Records by singing songs at the same time in Russian city of St.Petersburg on Sunday.

In the sidelines of the 310th establishing celebrations of St Petersburg people gathered St Petersburg’s famous St Isaac Cathedral and turned the square into concert area with the motto of “World’s unlimited enthusiasm”

Around twenty five thousand people came to concert area to watch the performance of giant choir. The concert was led by Vladislav Chernushenko, the chief of St. Petersburg's Academic Choir and accompanied by city's Academic Symphonic Orchestra.

Organizers of the event reports that the concert has entered the Guinness book of records.
