Deadly attack hits Russian police convoy in Dagestan

An attack on a Russian police convoy in Dagestan killed eight on Thursday, the Interfax news agency reported.

Several others were injured when the convoy was hit by a blast and gunfire, Interfax cited an unidentified law enforcement official as saying.
