A landslide that hit a village in rural China has left 16 dead and 21 still missing, State news agency Xinhua reported Sunday.
Torrents of earth and rocks buried 27 homes in the area and flooded 21 at around 10.50 p.m. Friday (1450 GMT) in Zhejiang Province in the country's east.
Heavy rain had battered the city for the past two days, and the local weather office said it was still raining when the disaster happened.
