Experts of the region and Georgia have stated that if Georgian Dream alliance led by Bidzina Ivanishvili wins the elections, then Georgia-Turkey relations will stay still.
Caucasia experts who follow Georgia up closely talked to AA about Monday's coming up results.
Assessing Monday's elections period in Georgia, experts stressed that in the event of opposition Bidzina Ivanishvili from Georgian Dream coalition comes out victorious then there will not be much changes in Georgia's relations with Turkey and the West and moreover, relations with Russia will become "normal".
Vice Chairman of International Strategic Research Organization (USAK) and lecturer at Abant Izzet Baysal University, Proffesor Dr. Kamer Kasim, pointed out that Georgia has been going through an important transformation and stated that in 2013, there will be a new system applied similar to parliamentary system.
Even though the official results have not been announced yet, Kasim supports that Georgian Dream alliance is a step forward. He said that if opposition wins then there will be significant chances in the domestic politics.
Lecturer from Bilkent University, Associate Professor Dr. Hasan Ali Karasar, said that the government and Mikheil Saakashvili made quick and wrong decisions and especially in the recent period, Georgia has lost its trade relations with Russia's allies which caused them losing exportation and it reflected to public.
People of Georgia started voting early on Monday for the framework of parliament. 3 million 613 thousand registered voters started heading to voting centres early in the morning.
