Kyrgyz gov't supporters retake Osh administration

Backers of Kyrgyzstan's interim government regained control of a key government building in the southern city of Osh on Friday, a day after it was seized by opponents in what the authorities said was a coup attempt.

Interim government supporters took back the regional government headquarters building after scuffles with opponents, a Reuters witness said. There did not appear to be serious injuries.
