Leak at SKorean nuclear reactor construction site kills 3

World Bulletin / News Desk

Three workers have lost their lives in South Korea in what appears to be a toxic gas leak at the construction site of a nuclear reactor, according to the state power operator.
National news agency Yonhap cited Bae Kyong-min, an official at the Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power Co., as saying the workers were killed after nitrogen gas leaked from an underground cable at the site in eastern Ulsan city.
The accident comes during a week in which a series of cyberattacks targeted the nuclear power operator, and exposed floor maps and other facility information from reactors in the country’s southeast.
