Pakistani jails have executed 17 people on Tuesday as the country continues its renewed use of capital punishment.
The executions mark the highest number of death sentences carried out in a single day in Pakistan's history.
The convicts, executed in different jails of northeastern Punjab province, were condemned for their involvement in murder, rape, and kidnap for ransom.
The executions raised to 92 the total number hanged in the last four months.
