The foreign ministers of Hungary, Serbia, Macedonia and Greece consider signing a memorandum on construction of a gas pipeline from Turkey to Austria this fall, Russian newspaper Vedomosti reported.

The meeting is expected in September, where parties are going to make a decision about the feasibility study preparation, representative of a Hungarian gas company FGSZ, which will be responsible for the pipeline in Hungary, said.

The pipeline was named 'Tesla', the first meeting of the working group for the project was held on June 25, a spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of Hungary said. The project was already referred to the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Gas (ENTSOG) to obtain the status of a project of public interest.

Tesla pipeline is planned to be launched in 2019. Its capacity will be 27 billion cubic meters, and the length of 1300-1400 kilometers.

Designers plan to deliver gas not only from the TurkStream, but also from the TANAP (Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline), a representative of Hungarian Foreign Ministry said.

The representative of Gazprom declined to comment. Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Macedonia and Serbia, as well as representatives of gas companies, responsible for Tesla in their countries did not respond to requests from the newspaper either.
