About 200 members of the Egyptian diaspora in Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered with Bosnians in Sarajevo on Saturday for the march of support to the Egyptian people.

The organizers of Saturday's march of support are NGOs and Egyptian diaspora in Bosnia.

Participants were raising protest signs in which was written: "The Egyptian army kills 'own' people", "Freedom and democracy for all, not just for Europe", "Will of the people will win, the Egyptian people will be free", "The army imputes guns to people to accuse them of terrorism".

The march was organized to support the Egyptian people but also to express the opposition to military coup in Egypt.

Yasser Lila, a representative of the Egyptian diaspora in Bosnia, said today that the Bosnians responded to this meeting in large numbers, because they had experienced the same fate in 1992.

"The march's aim is to support Egypt and Egyptians who are demonstrating day and night and being killed. We are supporting them and we are sending the message that they are not alone," said Lila.
