One miner was killed and six others were badly injured in a mine accident late Sunday in Bosnia & Herzegovina's Zenica, 70 km north of capital Sarajevo, the office of city's prosecutor said.
"We can say that one person died after the accident, but we still cannot talk about what caused his death," Sanjin Kulenovic from the prosecutor's office told the Anadolu Agency.
Kulenovic said the miner who was killed in the coal mine accident was 33 years old.
Two injured miners are released from the hospital Monday morning, while the others were still undergoing treatment, Mehmet Oruc, president of the Trade Union of Miners, said.
"We do not know what caused the accident yet, but an investigation is under way," Oruc told the AA.
