Over the past 24 hours, the Armenian military 92 times violated ceasefire on various parts of the contact line between Azerbaijani and Armenian troops, Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry reported on June 9.

Armenians stationed in the Aygepar village of Armenia’s Berd district opened fire on the Azerbaijani armed forces stationed in the Alibayli village of Azerbaijan’s Tovuz district.

 Armenia’s armed forces stationed on nameless heights in the Krasnoselsk district of Armenia also opened fired on the Azerbaijani army positions on nameless heights of Azerbaijan’s Gadabay district.

Azerbaijani positions were also fired at by Armenians’ stationed near the Goyarkh village of Terter district, the Shuraabad, Shirvanli, Garagashli, Shikhlar, Sarijali, Javahirli, Marzili villages of Aghdam district, the Horadiz, Garakhanbeyli, Ashagi Seyidahmadli, Gorgan villages of Fizuli district and the Mehdili village of Jabrail district.

Armenians were also firing from positions on nameless heights of the Goranboy, Khojavand, Fuzuli and Jabrail districts.

The enemy was silenced with return fire.

The two countries signed a ceasefire agreement in 1994. The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Russia, France and the US are currently holding peace negotiations. Armenia has not yet implemented the UN Security Council's four resolutions on the liberation of the Nagorno-Karabakh and the surrounding regions.
