The Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Ozkan Yorgancioglu is due in the western Turkish province of Manisa on Friday in a visit to the disaster-hit Soma mine.
Yorgancioglu, who left the TRNC's Ercan airport on Friday morning, arrived in Istanbul before boarding another plane to Izmir. Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Denktas, Economy Minister Zeren Mungan and Prime Ministry press office manager Huseyin Gursan are accompanying him.
The TRNC declared two days of mourning for the Turkish miners who died in the Soma mine disaster earlier this week. The TRNC and Pakistan were the only countries outside of Turkey to officially show such solidarity with Turkey in its weeks of tragedy.Güncelleme Tarihi: 16 Mayıs 2014, 12:52
