Turkey's and Kosovo's businessmen came together in a meeting of Kosovo-Turkey Chamber of Commerce in Pristina on Saturday.
The chamber was established to develop commercial and economic relations between the two countries.
Turkish Ambassador in Pristina Songul Ozan said during the meeting that commercial and economic relations between Turkey and Kosovo should be further developed, adding that Turkish companies should invest in Kosovo and participate in auctions more.
Kosovo Chamber of Economy Chairman Safet Gircaliu said that Kosovo should benefit from the experiences of Turkey which became a model to the world in the aspect of economic growth.
Kosovo's trade volume with Turkey --one of its most important trade partners-- is nearly 200 million euro. Turkish companies invested nearly 100 million euro in Kosovo till 2010.
Turkish companies are interested in the auctions for postal services, telecommunication and energy which will be privatized in Kosovo.
