Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed the situation in Gaza during their conversation on the phone on Saturday.
Officials of Turkish Foreign Ministry said that Davutoglu, who was in Cairo, discussed the Israeli attack on Gaza with Lavrov on the phone.
Davutoglu conveyed Turkey's views about the situation in Gaza, and said that the Israeli attacks should immediately end.
Davutoglu also met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr as well as accompanying delegations in Cairo and exchanged views about the recent Israeli attacks on Gaza.
The meeting focused on preparations for Turkish-Egyptian High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council's meeting which would be held today.
