Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi has proposed visa-free travel between his country and Turkey to facilitate easier business relations.
"Let our ties be straightforward. Let's travel without visas. Let's remove obstacles of custom duties before the business," Morsi told Sunday a Turkish-Egyptian Business Forum in the Turkish capital, Ankara, where he attended a congress of Turkey's ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party.
Morsi invited Turkish businesspeople to make investments in his country, saying foreign business establishments were under the guarantee of the Egyptian government.
"You don't need to worry about your investment in Egypt. It won't not be hurt, even a single dime of it. They are under state protection," Morsi said.
