Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with winner of Iraq's general elections, former Premier Ayad Allawi, Friday in Ankara.
The meeting which was closed to the press lasted 50 minutes.
Allawi, the leader of Al-Iraqiya list, also visited Turkey last month and held meetings with Turkish officials including President Abdullah Gul and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
Concerned over the attacks staged throughout Iraq last week which killed hundreds of people, Turkish Foreign Ministry, urged concerned parties in Iraq with a statement Tuesday to speed up efforts to set up a government in Iraq.
