Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdurrahman Hamad Al-Attiyah will visit Turkey between December 27 and 30 upon an invitation by Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
In a statement issued Friday, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said that Al-Attiyah will be received by Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Al-Attiyah and Turkish officials will discuss bilateral relations since 2008, the year when a Strategic Dialogue was established, and exchange views on both regional and international issues, the MFA also said.
