Iraqi president to jon ECO summit in Turkey

Iraqi President Jalal Talabani will travel to Turkey on Monday.

Talabani will attend the summit meeting of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in Istanbul on December 23, diplomats said on Sunday.

During his stay in Turkey, Talabani will also have meetings with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

His meetings will focus on economic and political relations between Turkey and Iraq.
