The Istanbul World Forum will take place in Istanbul on October 13-14, 2012.

A notice by the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Monday that the forum with the theme "Justice" will be held under the auspices of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The Forum will bring together the heads of governments of many countries, world's leading academicians, business executives, experts, NGO leaders, artists, authors and media personalities from around the world.

The central theme of this year's forum will be justice. Considering that political and economic injustice lie at the heart of many intractable problems we face today, a comprehensive analysis and discussion of justice in the widest sense of the term will enable sharper assessment of the current challenges facing our world and the articulation of concrete, workable solutions.
