The Turkish prime minister is currently visiting Rome for Turkey-Italy Intergovernmental Summit.

Italian PM welcomes Turkish PM with formal ceremony

Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti welcomed Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan with a formal ceremony in Italian capital of Rome on Tuesday.      

The two prime ministers proceeded to their meeting following the formal ceremonies.      

After the bilateral meeting two prime ministers will hold a joint press conference.      

Turkish EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis, Turkey's Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Environment and Urbanization Minister Erdogan Bayraktar, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz, Interior Minister Idris Naim Sahin, Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek, Justice and Development (AK) Party's vice chairman Omer Celik and AK Party Group deputy chairman Mustafa Elitas are accompanying Erdogan.      

The Turkish prime minister is currently visiting Rome for Turkey-Italy Intergovernmental Summit.
