Kosovo's Prime Minister Hashim Thaci will pay a three-day formal visit to Turkey starting May 19, Turkish prime minister's office said in a statement on Tuesday.

Thaci's visit to Turkey will be the first state visit at prime ministerial level after Kosovo declared independence in February 2008, the statement said.

All aspects of bilateral relations between two sister countries as well as regional and international issues will be discussed during Thaci's talks in Turkey, it said.

Visiting prime minister Thaci will meet with Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin. He will also have meetings in Istanbul.

During Thaci's visit to Ankara, several agreements will be signed to move forward bilateral relations, the statement said, adding that Turkey supports Kosovo's integration into Euro Atlantic organizations.
