Libyan authorities did not let around 250 Turkish nationals enter Tunisia after the group wanted to leave the country due to civil unrest.
Sources said that the Turkish group most of whom are workers left their construction sites and arrived at the Ras Al Jidir border gate on Thursday night and wanted to enter Tunisia only to find out that the Libyans would not let them leave the country.
Libyan security forces told the Turkish group to return back to their sites after taking them to the passport check-up point.
Turkey's Ambassador to Tunisia Akin Algan will visit the Ras Al Jidir border gate on Friday.
