NATO Spokesperson Oana Lungescu has said that NATO was closely and anxiously monitoring the situation in the south-eastern of Turkey.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA) on Wednesday, Lungescu said that the developments at the south-eastern border of NATO was at the top of their agenda.
Noting that NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen spoke to Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu earlier in the evening, Lungescu stated that Rasmussen had offered his condolences to the victims of families.
