Turkish Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD) announced on Friday that there were 110,649 Syrians currently staying in Turkey after fleeing clashes in their country.
In a written statement released Friday, AFAD reminded that they set up 5 tent cities in Hatay, 2 in Sanliurfa, 3 in Gaziantep and one each in Osmaniye, Kahramanmaras and Adiyaman and one container city in Kilis.
AFAD said that Syrian citizens taking shelter in Turkey were provided with lodging, food, health services, security, social activities, education, religious services, translation services and communications.
It was said that 155,662 Syrians fled to Turkey so far but 45,013 of them returned to Syria.
Syrians are provided meal three times a day, AFAD also said.
