Barbarzak met with Turkish journalists and informed about political, economic and cultural relations between Poland and Turkey.
Pointing out the importance of Turkish-Polish relations for their country and recording Poland was a place of safety, stability and cooperation, Barbarzak also said that Poland had always supported Turkey's full membership since Poland became a member of the EU.
Meanwhile, Joanna Skoczek, the head of Public and Cultural Diplomacy of Polish Foreign Ministry, also stated that Turkey and Poland would have an opportunity to know each other better thanks to 600th anniversary of Turkish-Polish relations. Stating that such long-term relations were scarce in Europe, Skoczek also said that they arranged various activities for the celebration of the anniversary and a budget of 100 thousand Euro has been allocated for them.
