Turkey denounces Israeli killings in West Bank

Turkey on Monday condemned Israeli attack on the West Bank that killed four Palestinians.

Four Palestinians, who were wounded on Saturday and Sunday when Israeli soldiers opened fire in villages near Nablus, have died, Turkish Foreign Ministry recalled.

The ministry expressed deep sorrow over the deaths and condemned attacks that took place after harassing attacks on Palestinian villages by Israeli settlers.

Turkey also expressed concern after media reports saying Red Crescent ambulances were not allowed by Israeli military to enter Palestinian villages to carry wounded Palestinians to hospitals.

The ministry statement said it was time to restore mutual trust and urged Israel to take measures to stop such harassing attacks by Israeli settlers in the West Bank.
