Turkey's Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and the European Union's head of foreign affairs Catherine Ashton discussed recent developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the phone on Friday.
During the call Turkish Foreign Minister Davutoglu also talked on the ethnic and religious tensions in the region, according to diplomatic sources. It is also reported that Ashton thanked Davutoglu for Turkey's peacemaking role in the region.
Davutoglu also spoke to his Libyan counterpart Mohamed Abdelaziz to evaluate bilateral relations and regional developments. Davutoglu also conveyed his impressions about his latest visit to Tunisia, said diplomatic sources.
