Greek Prime Minister and Foreign Minister George Papandreou said that Turkey and Greece agreed to reduce weapons mutually and to use defense expenditures for infrastructure projects.
Papandreou said at the Turkish-Greek Business Forum that efforts to put an end to lack of confidence between the two countries would also help improvement of economic and commercial relations.
Referring to the issue of visa requirement between Turkey and Greece, Prime Minister Papandreou said that they were working to provide Turkish citizens with some facilities.
He said that they talked about travel opportunities without visa for one-day or for longer periods, and added that they needed to persuade the European Union about it.
