Turkey hopes PKK members in EU to be captured

Turkish State Minister and chief negotiator for EU talks Egemen Bagis said on Tuesday that PKK was one of the most important crime gangs in Europe.

Replying to questions of reporters after a news conference held following the Turkey-EU political dialogue meeting in Istanbul, Bagis said that PKK was involved in several crimes like drug and human trafficking in several EU member states.

Turkish intelligence and security officials had talks with EU officials, he said. "We expect more cooperation in mechanisms that will be established as a result of these talks. We hope PKK terrorists in these (EU) countries to be captured and extradited to Turkey," Bagis said.

Turkey did what it could do for solution of problems of the EU and believed that EU would also do what it could do for the issues important for Turkey, he said.
