Ankara set to host the 4th meeting of the Turkey-Netherlands Conference on Feb 2
Ankara will host the 4th meeting of the Turkey-Netherlands Conference --also known as the Wittenburg Conference-- during Dutch Foreign Minister Uri Rosenthal's upcoming visit.
Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in an official statement Monday that the 4th meeting of conference, co-chaired by the foreign ministers of the two countries, would be held in Ankara on February 2.
The conference was launched under the MoU signed in 2008 between the two countries which aims to enhance relations between the two countries.
The working groups made up of senior officials from the two countries will discuss "cultural relations", "energy and environment", "immigration and integration" and "counter-terrorism".
Turkey-Netherlands relations, Turkey's accession to the EU, Cyprus problem and other regional and global topics will be discussed during the meetings.
