The Turkish prime minister offered condolences to Libya over death of many people in a plane crash on Wednesday.

Turkey's Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan called Libyan leader Muammar Qadhafi, and expressed deep sorrow over death of people aboard a plane that crashed during landing at Tripoli airport.

A Libyan plane crashed on approach to Tripoli's airport earlier on Wednesday, killing 103.

There were 104 passengers on the plane en route from Johannesburg, South Africa. A 10-year-old Dutch boy survived the crash.
