Director General of Turkey's Civil Aviation Department, Bilal Eksi on Wednesday said that Turkish planes did not use Syrian air space.
Speaking to the Anadolu Agency (AA), Eksi stated that the Syrian passenger plane, forced to land in Ankara's Esenboga International Airport earlier on Wednesday, had 37 people on board including crew members.
Reminded about warnings to Turkish planes not to use Syrian air space, Eksi said that Turkish planes were not presently using Syrian air space.
