Turkey, Syria sign cooperation deal on social services

Turkey and Syria will cooperate in various issues including the status of women, health care for the elderly, children's rights, protection of children and individuals with disabilities.

Turkey, Syria sign cooperation deal on social services

Turkey and Syria signed an agreement for cooperation in social services and protection of children as part of the Syrian Prime Minister Muhammad Naji al-Utri's official trip to Turkey.

The agreement was signed by State Minister Selma Aliye Kavaf on behalf of Turkey and Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Dr. Dayala al-Haj Arif on behalf of Syria.

Based on the newly signed agreement, Turkey and Syria will cooperate in various issues including the status of women, health care for the elderly, children's rights, protection of children and individuals with disabilities.

The agreement will also facilitate more dialogue between the youths of Turkey and Syria.
