Turkey's border city Hatay's Reyhanli town has been mobilized for the Syrian refugees they had been hosting.
Setting a good example of international aid and solidarity, Reyhanli was one of the first places Syrian refugees came after fleeing away from the violence in their country.
Hosting a number of Syrian refugees both in tent cities and in rental houses, Reyhanli residents started an aid campaign for their guests. They share their winter clothes, blankets, shoes and teapots with the refugees who were struggling with the cold weather.
Cengiz Hazirlar of Besir Association, a charity foundation in the region, told AA correspondent that they distributed stoves, charcoal and winter clothes to 100 refugee families. He added they would send 4 tonnes of food to Syria soon.
