Turkey's development agency TIKA is set to build a hospital, open vocational training centers and water wells in Darfur, agency chief said on Sunday.

Participating in an international donors conference for Darfur in Cairo, TIKA Chairman Musa Kulaklikaya said the aid would total some 70 million USD with the projects expected to be completed within three years.

Kulaklikaya said that the construction work for the hospital would start in days ahead as Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan promised during a visit to Darfur in 2006.

TIKA chief said Turkey also helped training of 243 Sudanese agricultural experts.
