Turkey's FM to join Kabul Conference in Afghanistan

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will attend the Kabul Conference in the Afghan capital.

The international conference will begin in Kabul on Tuesday and the Afghan government says will outline plans "to improve security, reintegrate insurgents into society and
crack down on corruption."

Foreign ministers from 44 countries including U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will attend the conference.

After attending the conference, Davutoglu will proceed to Mazar-i Sharif to attend a ceremony marking establishment of a provincial reconstruction team in Cevizcan.

Turkey established its first provincial reconstruction team in Wardak, 35 kilometers from Kabul, after the UN Security Commission decided that NATO would work on reconstruction of Afghanistan.
