Turkey's PM leaves for Syria for Lebanon summit

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan left for Damascus, Syria on Monday.

Erdogan will join Qatar's Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad at a tripartite summit aiming to find a solution to the recent political crisis in Lebanon.

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is accompanying Erdogan.
