Turkish, Balkan NGOs to meet in congress

Non-governmental organizations from Turkey and Balkan countries are set to join in a congress in Turkey's northwestern province of Tekirdag.

The Third International Balkans Congress is set to begin on Wednesday with the participation of scholars and researchers from over 70 NGOs to seek ways to make contribution to the regional cooperation as well as economic development and democratization.

The congress is hosted by Turkish Asia Strategic Studies Center (TASAM).
