Turkish Defense Minister due to Oman

Turkish Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul is set to leave Thursday for Oman on a formal visit, his office said in a press release on Wednesday.

Gonul is scheduled to meet with Oman's Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said as well as his counterpart Sayyid Badr Bin Saud Bin Harib Al Busaidi.

The Turkish defense minister is expected to return to Turkey on Sunday.
