The increasing attention to Turkey and the Turkish language across the globe is very pleasing, Turkish Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Mevlut Cavusoglu said.

Attending the "Far East Turkologist Convention" in Japanese capital Tokyo, Cavusoglu expressed that they, as the Turkish government, are attaching great importance to the Yunus Emre Institutes for Turkish culture and would always support the institutes.

The first convention of Turkologists was organized last year in Japan. This year's convention was attended by South Korea, China, and Taiwan.
