Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met with his Iranian counterpart Manuchehr Motaki as part of his visit to Bahrain.
Davutoglu is currently in Bahrain to attend "7th International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Regional Security Summit: The Manama Dialogue 2010".
During the closed-door meeting, Motaki informed Davutoglu on recent developments prior to the meeting between Iran and P5+1 nations including five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council -the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China and Russia- and Germany, in Geneva on December 5 and 6.
Davutoglu also held a brief talk with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Clinton welcomed Turkey's sending two fire-fighting aircrafts to Israel to help efforts to extinguish a forest fire.
The Turkish foreign minister will attend the "7th International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Regional Security Summit: The Manama Dialogue 2010" later in the day.
