Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will pay a visit to Greece in March.

Davutoglu met with Greek Foreign Minister Dimitrios Droutsas over a breakfast in the eastern province of Erzurum on Friday. During the meeting, the two ministers agreed on a visit by Davutoglu to Greece in March.

They also discussed the matters concerning the relations between Turkey and Greece.

Diplomatic sources said that the exact date of the meeting would be set later.

The two foreign ministers are currently in Erzurum to attend the Third Ambassadors Conference.

Later, they will join Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou who are also in Erzurum to inaugurate the facilities which were
constructed to host the 25th World University Winter Games (2011 Universiade).

Universiade, as the olympic meeting of university students, is one of the most important sport events in the world. It is the main point in FISU's (International University Sports Federation) calendar.

The Games, which are staged every two years in a different city, are held in two parts as Summer and Winter Games. The summer games first took place in Turin in 1959, and winter games in 1960, in the city of Chamonix (France). The leader in hosting the games is Italy (5 times).
