Turkish ministers in Greece before Erdogan's visit

A delegation of eight Turkish ministers travelled to Greece before Erdogan's upcoming visit.

The meeting of Turkey-Greece High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council will be co-chaired by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Greek counterpart George Papandreou.

Premier Erdogan will travel to Greece on Friday on a two-day visit for the council.

The Turkish delegation of ministers is made up of Deputy Premier Ali Babacan, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Interior Minister Besir Atalay, Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim, National Education Minister Nimet Cubukcu, Energy Minister Taner Yildiz, Culture and Tourism Minister Ertugrul Günay and Environment and Forestry Minister Veysel Eroglu.

The council will convene twice every year.

During his stay in Athens, Prime Minister Erdogan will be received by President Karolos Papoulias.

He is also set to hold talks with Greek Prime Minister Papandreou and Greece's main opposition leader Antonis Samaras.

Erdogan will receive a delegation from the Turkish minority in Western Thrace.

A large delegation of Turkish businessmen will accompany the Prime Minister during the visit to attend Turkey-Greece Business Forum. Prime Minister Erdogan will also visit the new Acropolis Museum in Athens.
