Turkish Parliament adopts law on directorate for Turks abroad

A draft law envisaging the establishment of a Presidency for Turks living overseas and relative communities has been adopted at the General Assembly of the Turkish Parliament on Wednesday.

The new Presidency will develop social, cultural and economic ties with Turks and relatives living in all corners of the world.

The Presidency may appoint three deputy presidents and three legal advisors.
