Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a meeting with Greek Parliament Speaker Philippos Petsalnikos in Greek capital of Athens on Friday.
Before the meeting, Erdogan and Petsalnikos delivered a brief statement.
Petsalnikos said they attached a great importance to Erdogan's visit to Greece and his visit would boost ties between the two countries and strengthen peace.
Erdogan said his visit was a "historic" one and he would have opportunity to hold talks with Greek authorities in the areas of politics, military, trade and culture.
Erdogan said they came to Greece with almost 320 businessmen and the two countries have completed works on 21 agreements.
"These are important steps. We, as the two neighbor countries, want to establish a sound future," he said.
Later Erdogan received the main opposition New Democracy Party's leader Antonis Samaras at Hilton Hotel in Athens.
